Biting, Glasses Theft: Peabody Police Log
Drunk Uber passenger, machete brandishing, and more from the Peabody Police log.

- Mark W. Lendall, 42, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, leaving the scene of a property damage, and a marked lanes violation on Tuesday around 8:30 p.m. after police were called to Bartholomew Street on a report of a car that struck a tree.
- Police responded to a loud party on Winnegance Avenue on Wednesday around 11:30 p.m. Officers spoke with the homeowners and they turned the music off for the night.
- Officers took a report of a missing man who wandered away from Crowninshield Street on Thursday around 10 a.m. Police located the man.
- Police responded to a road rage incident near the Big Y on Lowell Street on Thursday around 10 a.m. The drivers talked things over before police got there.
- Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Thursday around 4 p.m. A man was caught on tape stealing five or six sunglasses and glasses frames.
- Police took a report of a fight in which one man said he was bit on Friday around 6 p.m. The man was taken to Salem Hospital.
- An Uber driver reported a drunk passenger being uncooperative on Boston Street on Saturday around 1:30 a.m.
- Someone reported a man who walked down Martinack Avenue on Saturday around 1:30 p.m., put a clear tote in his car and changed shirts. The man was gone when police got there.
- Michael Seale, 30, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of a class C drug, and threatening to commit a crime on Saturday around 8 p.m. after police were called to a report of an unwanted guest on Washington Street.
- Wilmer A. Cruz, 31, of Danvers, was arrested on charges of drugged driving on Sunday around 3:30 a.m. after police were called to a report of a man possibly asleep in a car on Newbury Street.
- Stephen M. Lightizer, 39, of Salem, was arrested on charges of three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon on Monday around 8 p.m. after police were called to Veterans Memorial Drive on a report of a man brandishing a machete after being confronted when trying to steal a bike.
- Police responded to a report of a fistfight in an Essex Center Drive parking lot on Monday around midnight. Security reported that the two people got into a white car and fled toward Toys 'R' Us.
