Burger, Brew Joint Opens Ahead Of Schedule At Northshore Mall

PEABODY, MA —hop + grind, a restaurant specializing in burgers and craft beers, opened at the Northshore Mall in Peabody this week. The restaurant opened ahead of schedule. The original opening date, according to the mall's Website, was supposed to have been next week.

The mall location is the first in Massachusetts for hop + grind. Last year it was awarded 'Best New Restaurant' by New Hampshire Magazine for its flagship location in Durham, NH. hop + grind was an offshoot the Tuckaway Tavern & Butchery in Raymond, NH. The restaurant's chef, Bobby Marcotte, has appeared on Food Network's "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives" and "Guys Grocery Games," a food-based game show that he won twice.

The restaurant is part of a series of restaurant openings at Northshore Mall that were announced last year.
