Car with Smashed Window Involved in Alleged Drug Buy on Goodale Street

The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it doesn't indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department press log from May 23-24.

Thursday, May 23

  • 2:30 p.m. a caller reported that items were stolen from her lawn on Winthrop Street.
  • 2:39 p.m. police recovered a stolen motor vehicle on Proctor Street. A caller had first reported it on Monday.
  • 4:21 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Russell Street. 
  • 5:57 p.m. a caller reported that there may be a fire under the hood of her motor vehicle on Andover Street. An officer responded and said that there was no fire.
  • 11:34 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle driving up and down Roycroft Road, egging multiple homes as they went. An officer responded but did not see any matching vehicles in the area.  

Friday, May 24

  • 12:36 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Walnut Street. An officer stated that a male fled on foot towards Tracey Street. 
  • At 12:22 p.m. a caller reported the license plate stolen off his motor vehicle on Bowen Road. 
  •  1 p.m. a caller reported a drug transaction on Goodale Street. A suspicious vehicle was used for the alleged drug deal with a smashed out drivers window.
