Copper Pipes Stolen During Home Break-In on Oak Street
The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it doesn't indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department press log from May 22-23.
Wednesday, May 22
- 3:18 p.m. a caller reported that someone was stealing railroad tracks somewhere in the vicinity of Allens Lane. An officer did not locate anybody stealing railroad tracks.Â
- 4:15 p.m. the Danvers police Department called about a Peabody resident involved in a road rage incident near Lowell Street.
- 6:44 p.m. mall security reported a shoplifter detained from Spencer's Gifts.Â
- 7:55 p.m. a store employee reported that she was harassed by a customer who was knocking clothes off her counter.Â
- 8:53 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on Gardner Street. Both vehicles were towed.Â
Thursday, May 23
- 6:42 a.m. the larceny of flowers was reported on Fulton Street.Â
- 7:06 a.m. a caller reported a stolen motor vehicle on Lowell Street. An officer ended up locating the vehicle and it turned out the owner forgot where he parked it.
- 10:46 a.m. a caller reported that his building on Oak Street was broken into and copper was stolen from the basement. Police believe that the perpetrator entered the house through a boarded-up window and the copper piping was stolen from the basement.Â
- 11:19 p.m. police arrested a juvenile for disrupting a school function at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School.Â
- 1:52 p.m. police responded to a report of a stolen wood chipper that was purchased online by a company on Winter Street. An officer verified that the wood chipper was at the location on Winter Street and Haverhill Police then took over the case.
