MARBLEHEAD

  • Drivers started throwing water on a man's car while he waited for a handicap parking spot to open up on Pleasant Street on Saturday around 10:30 a.m.
  • Police threw away a used flare cartridge after someone found it in the Harbor and mistook it for a shotgun shell and brought it to the police station on Sunday around 11 a.m.

  • Officers took a report of a possible bed bug in a breakfast sandwich. Someone went to the police station last Friday evening to report that earlier in June, they bought a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich that possibly had a bed bug in it and a side of french toast sticks, but only got 2 and a half in the bag.

  • Police responded to a report of Cheetos poured on a girl at the Farmers Market on Monday around 6 p.m. The Cheetos pourer was moved along.
  • Officers responded to a report of a beer bottle with a gas soaked rag in it that had previously been lit on fire at the basketball court on Lindsey Avenue on Tuesday around 5:30 a.m.
  • A man claimed to be an undercover police officer after he had been blocking a dumpster on Cabot Street with his car for about 20 minutes on Wednesday around 1 p.m. The man then called someone a slur and gave the finger as he drove away.

  • Police responded to a report of foxes in a playground area on Lake Street on Sunday around noon. An officer found two baby foxes that fled into the woods when he arrived.
  • Someone reported that a man threw money in her face at the Sonic Drive In on Newbury Street around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Police responded to a report of an ex boyfriend taking an air conditioning unit without permission on Thursday around 10 p.m. on Newcastle Road.
