Youths throwing soccer balls, stolen Vicodin, and more from the Peabody Police log.

- Mark R. Cavanaugh, 51, of Salem, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, possession to distribute a class B drug, and not having a license in possession on Friday around 4:30 p.m. after police responded to a report of a car accident on Summer Street.
- Drew W. Oneil, 21, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of distribution of a class D drug, possession of a class B drug, and possession to distribute a class D drug on Friday around 5 p.m. after police checked on two cars on Lynnfield Street.
- Genaro Chavez, 27, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, and speeding after a traffic stop on Newbury Street on Friday around 10 p.m.
- Police responded to a report of two man walking around shining large flashlights into yards on Granite Street on Friday around 10 p.m. Officers found that the men were employees of a plumbing company, and were fixing a leak nearby.
- John A. Peckham, 30, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a pregnant person, and witness intimidation on Saturday around 7 a.m.
- Police responded to a report of a mattress that fell off the back of a rental truck and hit the car behind it on Veterans Memorial Drive on Saturday around 6 p.m., and was in the middle of the road causing traffic. Officers found that the car struck was driven by part of the group that rented the truck.
- Some Vicodin, $4,000, and a safe were reportedly stolen from a Lynn Street home on Saturday around 10 p.m.
- Dalinson Fernandez was arrested on charges of driving an uninsured car, unlicensed driving, attaching plates, and driving an unregistered car on Monday around noon after a traffic stop on Foster Street.
- Michael Decowski, 30, of Lynn, and Joseph Schnabel, 42, of Abington, were arrested on charges of possession of a class B drug after a traffic stop on Lynn Street on Monday around 8 p.m.
- Matthew Wilson, 38, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a household member, and strangulation or suffocation on Tuesday around 12 a.m.
- Someone approached a police officer on Wallis Street to reported that youths were throwing soccer balls at cars on Wednesday around 11 a.m.
- The DPW responded to a report of a dead raccoon on the sidewalk on Lynn Street on Wednesday around 12:30 p.m.
- Fabio Jose Santos Perriera, 29, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct on Wednesday around 3 p.m. after a report of a person being disorderly at the Leather City Commons.
