Fenwick Defeats Pingree, Heads to Super Bowl on Perfect Record
The Crusaders were victorious at home, 36-27.
Bishop Fenwick held off Pingree Thursday for a Thanksgiving win and a perfect season heading to the Super Bowl next week.
The Crusaders are 12-0 and will play for the Division 5 state title at Gillette Stadium Dec. 7. Fenwick defeated the visiting Highlanders, 36-27, Thursday, coming back strong after the half as they trailed, 20-16.
Over in Saugus, the Tanners and Sachems tussled for their 67th contest Thursday. Saugus came away with the win again, however, 25-14. Peabody finishes the season at 3-8.
