Fireworks Complaints By The Dozen: Peabody Police Log
A paintballer is aiming for cars, incidents related to Sonic Drive In, and more from the Peabody Police log.

- Alan Thomas Olivole, 37, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, a plates violation, unregistered motor vehicle, using a false RMV signature, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and receiving stolen property after a traffic stop on Friday around 8:30 p.m. on Foster Street.
- Matthew S. French, 31, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering a building in the night, six counts of larceny over $250, and breaking into depository on Saturday around 9 a.m. after a report of a burglary at the Salem Country Club.
- Officers took a report of slashed tires on Main Street on Saturday around 9:30 a.m.
- A customer at Sonic Drive In on Newbury Street reportedly struck a sign on Saturday around noon, causing damage.
- Joseph E. Dick, 32, of Ipswich, was arrested on charges of drugged driving and license not in possession on Saturday around 8 p.m. on Ellsworth Road.
- Police responded to a report of foxes in a playground area on Lake Street on Sunday around noon. An officer found two baby foxes that fled into the woods when he arrived.
- Someone reported that a man threw money in her face at the Sonic Drive In on Newbury Street around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
- Officers responded to 12 fireworks complaints between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Sunday on Lake Street, Liakos Park, Curwen Road, Paul Avenue, Stevens Street, Eastman Park, Cottage Street, Johnson Street, Gardner Street, and Kittredge Street. Some reports were unfounded, and police sent perpetrators on their way in other cases.
- Gabriel Matrinez, 20, of Salem, was arrested on charges of shoplifting on Wednesday around 3 p.m.
- Police took a report of a car struck by a paintball while driving in the area of Main Street on Wednesday around 10 p.m.
- Andre G. Brown, 29, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, no inspection sticker, possession of a class C drug, possession of a class B drug, and a miscellaneous equipment violation on Thursday around 8 p.m. on Russell Street.
- Catharine Ackerman, 31, of Haverhill, was arrested on charges of shoplifting on Thursday around 9 p.m. on Andover Street.
- A car was struck by a paintball on Lowell Street on Thursday around 10 p.m. Police believe a resident in a Main Street apartment may be shooting cars as they drive by.
- Police responded to a report of an ex boyfriend taking an air conditioning unit without permission on Thursday around 10 p.m. on Newcastle Road.
