Freeze Warning as Morning Temps Look Frigid
The first snow reportedly hit Massachusetts Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
A freeze warning will be in effect overnight for much of Eastern Massachusetts as frigid temperatures follow up what was the first snow of the season Tuesday.
The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for all of Essex County, Southeast Middlesex, Western Norfolk, Western Plymouth, Southern Bristol, and Southern Plymouth Counties.
The warning will be in effect from 2 a.m - 9 a.m. Wednesday. Temperatures will dip as low as the 2os.

The season's first snow flurries were reported at 5:30 p.m. in Central Massachusetts, according to the NWS. More snow is expected for the western part of the state Thursday, with some more flurries possible for Central Mass.

The NWS says it will remain chilly the next few days - colder than normal for this time of year.
