Grants Available For Peabody Arts Projects
The Peabody Cultural Council is accepting applications for exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies and performances.
PEABODY, MA — Those planning future exhibits, festivals, field trips, artist residences, as well as performances in schools, workshops and lectures, can apply for funding grants through the Peabody Cultural Council.
The council has set a Nov. 16 deadline for the grants through the Local Cultural Councils program aimed at creating grassroots funding for programs throughout the country. The Mass Cultural Council allocates the funding to each community.
Groups that received funding in 2020, and could not use it due to the coronavirus health crisis, can request an extension into 2021 through Dec. 30. Funding will then be extended to Dec. 31, 2021.
