A Guide to Peabody's International Festival Weekend
Road Race, Restaurant Week, Pop Up Pub, and the city's largest annual event.

The City of Peabody has an array of events happening over the next week that will culminate with the 35th annual International Festival in downtown Peabody.
Here's what is happening:

What: The Progeria Research Foundation's annual 5K and 2-mile fun walk raises money for the foundation's research to discover the cause, treatment, and cure for progeria.
Who: Serious athletes, teams, children and families.

Where: Leather City Common at 53 Lowell Street.
When: Saturday, September 8th. Registration opens at 7:45 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.
2) Peabody Main Streets' Pop Up Pub:
What: Peabody Main Streets and the city host a kick-off to International Festival weekend with another one of their wildly popular Pop Up Pubs. Craft beer by Lord Hobo Brewing Co., a downtown food vendor, yard games, and live music by the talented Bare Bones Acoustic.
Who: The event is geared towards adults, but children are allowed. $5 admission for all ages. 21+ to purchase craft beer.
Where: Chestnut Street.
When: Friday, September 14th at 6:00 p.m. Rain date is September 15th.
What: Select Peabody restaurants are offering special meals for $20.18 for more than a week. Customers receive a special appetizer, entree, and dessert.
Who: Adults, children, and families.

When: September 14th to September 23rd.
4) 35th International Festival:
What: The North Shore's largest cultural event. Celebrate the many different cultures that make this area so special. 60+ food booths featuring cuisine inspired from all over the world, two stages filled with ethnic dance groups and popular local musicians, a Beer Garden, a Wine Garden, an Artists' Galleria with Fine Art on Foster Street, and a Kid's Day at East End Veterans Memorial Park.
Who: Everyone and anyone!
Where: Most booths will be located on Main Street and Peabody Square. Artists' Galleria will take place on Foster Street. Kid's Day is at East End Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street.
When: September 16th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Rain date is September 23rd.
