Happy Mother’s Day To Arlene Denis

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Priscilla Denis-Greenough's letter to her mom:

My mom is an awesome mother. She not only raised four of her own children, but she also took in other people’s children. She spent lots of time with us, listening to us and teaching us things.

My mom is still always there for me whenever I need her. She helps everyone and is extremely kind-hearted.

She also makes hats for the babies at Salem Hospital. For years she has been knitting and donating hats that fit preemies to full-term babies.

I lucked out and got one of the best moms you could ever have! She always used to make us homemade meals and after-school snacks — not just for us, but for the neighborhood kids as well!

My mom is now one of my best friends! I love her very much!
