Happy Mother's Day To Anne McDaid

PEABODY, MA — Whether it's through their personalities, looks, hobbies, or a combination of everything, children become a reflection of the woman who raised them.

Sheila McDaid submitted the following for mom Anne McDaid:

Why she is special: An Irish immigrant who arrived in 1951, she raised 7 children, and who often times caused her much heartache. Her faith in God carried her through difficult times and made joyous times that much better. She worked as a crossing guard in a Peabody until she retired at age 91. She loves each grandchild and great grandchild with unconditional love.

Message: Mom, thank you for all the sacrifices, and thank you for you light within that drew people to you and thank you for loving us no matter what. You are a big part of whom I am today.
