Holiday Dinners For Those In Need On North Shore
The following places will be offering free Christmas Day meals on the North Shore.
PEABODY, MA — While Christmastime and the winter can be tough on North Shore families and residents in need every year, food insecurity this year is higher than ever because of the coronavirus health crisis.
There are several places on the North Shore that will be providing meals for those in need this year with most offering to-go or delivered meals due to the pandemic.
Haven from Hunger on Wallis Street in Peabody is offering grab-and-go Christmas dinners with pickup times between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 25. Home deliveries may be arranged through calling 978-531-1530 for those who cannot pick up meals.

My Brother's Table on Willow Street in Lynn is offering "to go" meals for individuals and families from noon to 6 p.m. Volunteers are needed for this effort. Those willing to volunteer are asked to email volunteer@mybrotherstable.org or mia@mybrotherstable.org.
St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Ocean Street in Beverly is offering Friday Night Supper on Christmas night at 6 p.m. Meals will be served to go.

Due to the pandemic, North Shore Unitarian Universalist Church of Danvers will not be serving Christmas dinner this year for the first time in 35 years. They hope to resume next year.
Lifebridge of Salem will not be serving meals to the general public this year because of the coronavirus crisis, but will serve current residents who have signed up for a meal.
