Stolen flamingos, youths "up to no good," and more from the Peabody Police log.

  • Someone called police to report a group of youths "possibly up to no good" on Thursday around 9 p.m. on Baker Street. Police spoke to a group of youths who were playing a game, and told them not to go into their neighbor's yard.
  • Police responded to a fireworks complaint on South Shore Avenue on Saturday around 10:30 p.m. Officers found that the party at the residence was ending for the night.
  • Officers tagged a car on Washington Street on Sunday around 3 a.m. for parking entirely on the sidewalk, with the exception of its left front and rear tires.
  • Someone reported that their credit card was fraudulently used online, making roughly $100 worth of purchases or charges on Sunday around 1 p.m.
  • Authorities responded to a report of a jet ski on fire in a detached garage on Wallis Street on Sunday around 2 p.m.
  • Police responded to a report of two people arguing over a new boyfriend on Newbury Street on Sunday around 6 p.m.
  • Someone reported a red car circling a neighborhood in the area of Forenza Road on Sunday around 7 p.m. Officers found the car was driven by someone learning to drive with a valid learner's permit.
  • Officers responded to a report of blood in the bathroom of a Lowell Street business on Sunday around 9 p.m.
  • Police responded to a report of a person who peed on some front steps on Newbury Street on Sunday around 10 p.m. Officers report it was accidental.
  • Christopher S. White, 45, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and strangulation or suffocation on Sunday around 11 p.m.
  • Sometime over the weekend, five plastic lawn ornaments were stolen from a Newbury Street residence, as reported Monday around 10 a.m. Pink flamingos and other plastic animals were taken.
