A Love Letter To Marijke

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Lorraine Rebidue's love letter to her wife, Marijke:

Marijke AKA HH (Honey, Honey)

I remember the first day we met like it was yesterday. As they say in the “Jerry Maguire” movie, "You had me at hello!” I was immediately smitten with you.

A birthday wish my sister made for you and I came true as our friendship turned into romance which turned into marriage! That was almost 10 years ago, and I can truly say the only day I remember and cherish more than the first day we met is the day we were married (September 10, 2016!).

I know how lucky and blessed I am to have you! You are the person I look forward to coming home to and the person I want to wake up to and fall asleep with every night for the rest of my days. I love you!
