Lynn Man Held Without Bail After Fatal Stabbing
A man accused of fatally stabbing a 27 year old was ordered held without bail on Monday.

LYNN, MA – After an alleged argument over money turned deadly, a man accused of fatally stabbing someone on Sunday morning has been ordered held without bail.
According to a statement from the Essex District Attorney's Office, George McBrier, 50, of Lynn, was ordered held without bail after his arraignment on a murder charge on Monday in Lynn District Court. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
Essex Assistant District Attorney Katelyn Giliberti told the court that the victim, Keenan Barr, 27, of 20 South St. in Lynn, showed up at McBrier's apartment. An argument about money allegedly started which eventually became physical. The defendant allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.

Barr was taken to Salem Hospital, and pronounced dead. McBrier was transported to Lynn Union Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
