Lynn Man Shot On Lowell Street In Peabody Early Monday Morning

Peabody police said the victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

PEABODY, MA — A 26-year-old Lynn man suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening when he was shot on Lowell Street early Monday morning.

Peabody police said they responded to report of gunfire on Lowell Street near the intersection with Church Street shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday morning and found the Lynn man, who told them he had just been shot outside.

Police said emergency first aid was provided and the victim was taken to Lahey Hospital.

Police said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing in conjunction with detectives and officers assigned to the Essex County District Attorney's Office.
