Man Dials 911 to Report Nosy Neighbor

The following excerpts are from reports in the Peabody Police Department press log from Dec. 12-13.

Thursday, Dec. 12

• 3:32 p.m. A Kenwood Road resident complained about school traffic. She said said she was having a problem with parents picking up children and parking illegal areas, blocking fire hydrants and residents' driveways. She said she had a run-in with a "hostile parent" parking in her driveway and the street was often impassable for emergency vehicles.
• 3:40 p.m. An officer reported there was a hot ceiling tile in the officers' locker room. The wrong tile was installed.
• 6:50 p.m. Courtney Avery, 20, and Haridon Dulvi 26, both of 11 Fiske Ave. #2, Lynn, were arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 114 near the UPS Store. Avery was charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and on an outstanding warrant out of Salem District Court. Dulvi was charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and possession of a dangerous weapon (brass knuckles).
  
• 7:41 p.m. An employee at TD Bank on Cross Street reported a person with a camera was filming customers at the ATM. Police checked the area, but didn't find anyone.
• 7:58 p.m. Edmund A. Leblanc, 58, of 157 Holten St. #3, Danvers, was arrested at Sylvan Street Grille on a charge of violating a restraining order.
• 11:55 p.m. Amanda K. Rano, 20, of 69 Franklin St., Lynn, was arrested, following a report of an employee stealing $1,600 worth of merchandise at Macy's. Rano was charged with shoplifting by asportation and larceny over $250.

Friday, Dec. 13

• 1:41 a.m. A man reported his mother called him and said her house was on fire. An officer checked the house at Perkins Street and said there wasn't a fire, it was just a broken radiator releasing steam.
• 8:30 a.m. A caller reported his car was struck by a black Infiniti SUV on Lynnfield Street that fled the scene. An officer checked the suspect's residence, but the person wasn't home.
• 10:51 a.m. A Thorndike Street resident dialed 911 to report his neighbor was being nosy. An officer said there was ongoing issue between the neighbors.
• 11:37 a.m. A caller at a Central Street home reported hypodermic needles were being left on his property and a door to the home was broken.
• 12:18 p.m. Report of a head-on collision between an MBTA bus and a car on Prospect Street near the mall entrance to Barnes & Noble. Numerous units responded to the scene on initial report of multiple injuries, but it turned out that no one needed medical transport.
