Night Work Will Cause Delays In Danvers, Peabody
There will be temporary lane closures on Route 128 as part of a $24.7 million project to rebuild the Waters River Bridge.

PEABODY, MA — Drivers can expect delays if they are traveling at night through Danvers and Peabody on Route 128 during the next several weeks.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be closing lanes on both sides of the highway between Route 114, exit 25A/25B, and Endicott Street, Exit 24. Work will be ongoing Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning May 26.
At least one lane of traffic will be open through the work area at all times. The work is part of a $24.7 million project to reconstruct the Waters River Bridge in Peabody and Danvers.
