Obituary: Angela L. (Paladino) Caulfield, First Grade Teacher
She was active in Cub Scouts, the PTA, and volunteered at St. John's Prep, where her children attended school.

Angela L. (Paladino) Caulfield, 72, beloved wife of the late James Caulfield, Sr., died peacefully on Saturday morning June 20, 2015 at her home in Hampton, NH while in the comforting presence of her family.
Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Martone) Paladino. She grew up in Methuen and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Merrimack College in North Andover.

Mrs. Caulfield was a first grade teacher in the Lawrence public school system for many years, retiring 12 years ago. Prior to that she taught at St. Monica’s in Methuen and the P.R.E.P. Center in Peabody.
Angela enjoyed traveling with her husband, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was active in Cub Scouts, the PTA, and volunteering at St. John’s Prep where her children attended school. She was also a member of the Mass Teachers Association and an avid animal lover. Her main passion was her family and friends, having many social gatherings at her Summer beach house in Hampton, NH. She will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by three sons Jamie Caulfield & his wife Carolyn of Merrimac, MA, Sean Caulfield & his wife Ashley of Cohasset and Kevin Caulfield & his wife Deborah of Groveland; a daughter Erin Brown & her husband Nathan of Newbury; seven grandchildren, James, Owen, Madeleine, Finnegan, Ryan, Ethan & Bodhi; a brother Carmen Paladino and his wife Sandy of Spring City, PA, and a sister Arlene Alper & her husband Steven of San Diego, CA. Sandy Paladino and Arlene Alper cared for and comforted Angela around the clock during her final months, and her children are eternally grateful for their love and support. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Margaret Murrin & her husband James of Dorchester and Nancy Hearn of Serverna Park, MD; an aunt Carol D’Urso of Andover and two cousins Stephen D’Urso and his wife Ruth of Hampton, NH, and Laura Fowler and her husband Kent of North Andover, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 11:30 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 P.M. in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to the M.S.P.C.A., 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
