PEABODY, MA — Peabody Municipal Light Plant repaired an isolated power outage that affected portions of the downtown area.

"Once we have checked some fault indicators and verified some field reports we will attempt to reactivate the circuit," PMLP said in a Facebook post.

The utility reported power had been restored about 1 p.m. Thursday.
