Peabody Crash: Route 128 Backed Up In Both Directions
Northbound and southbound lanes are very slow approaching the crash near Lowell Street.
PEABODY, MA — A crash on Route 128 south Monday morning backed up traffic in both directions. Emergency radio reports indicate the crash involved a motorcycle. Just one lane was getting by, though reports around 8:10 a.m. indicated the motorcycle was moved to the breakdown lane.
No injuries have been reported. The crash happened near Lowell Street. Southbound traffic is backed up nearly into Wenham, while northbound traffic is backed up almost to Route 1.
