Peabody Crash Leaves 300 Without Power
Peabody Light has fed some affected homes from an alternate circuit, but there may be intermittent outages.

PEABODY, MA —A motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Crane and Nichols streets in Peabody damaged a utility pole and wires Wednesday afternoon and left about 300 customers without power. Peabody Municipal Light Plant said they fed some of the affected homes from an alternate circuit but there may be intermittent outages as crews replace the pole and wires. Other details were not immediately available.
A motor vehicle accident at Crane and Nichols Sts caused a pole to snap and affect power lines. You may have had a brief outage as PMLP isolated the problem and fed homes from an alternate circuit. Approx. 300 people will have a longer outage as the cables and pole are repaired. pic.twitter.com/Cds8vzs9LL
