Peabody Dealerships Donate 2 Electric Cars To Police

Lyon-Waugh Auto Group and BMW of Peabody donated two cars to the Peabody Police Department.

PEABODY, MA – Peabody Police will have two new cars to work with, thanks to a donation from Lyon-Waugh Auto Group. The dealership and BMW of Peabody donated two BMS i3 cars, according to a post from the Peabody Police Department Facebook.

The Peabody Chamber of Commerce noted that one car will be used to help the senior center, and another will be used to assist Peabody Main Streets. Both cars are electric, and will carry the Peabody Police emblem.
