• James A. "Jim the Barber" Mello, of Lynnfield and formerly Peabody. Born Nov. 19, 1926, died Nov. 28, 2013. He was the longtime owner of Jim's Barber Shop on Margin Street and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Visiting Hours: Friday, Dec. 6, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service: Saturday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Lynnfield. Burial will be Monday, Dec. 9 in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park.
• Karen Joyce Cody, of Peabody and Seabrook, N.H. Born June 28, 1967, died Dec. 2, 2013. Funeral Service: Friday, Dec. 6, 12 p.m.
• Georgia (Scoulogenis) (Katsoulas) Pomakis, of Peabody. Born Aug. 25, 1923, died Dec. 3, 2013. She served with the U.S. Navy during World War II as a coder and censor and was honorably discharged in 1945. Visiting Hours: Sunday, Dec. 8, 3-7 p.m. Funeral Service: Monday, Dec. 9, 11:30 a.m. at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
