PEABODY, MA — Peabody Public Schools students are going blue for autism awareness and acceptance on Friday.

Because the district had last Friday — which was World Autism Day — off because of Good Friday, students will be wearing Peabody colors in support of their autistic friends and classmates this Friday.

Students wearing blue who would like their pictures shared on social media are asked to tag them #peabodylightingitupblue.
