Peabody High's Rocha Ends with a Bang at New Balance Meet
Peabody High track star Catarina Rocha competed in the New Balance Outdoor Track Nationals in Greensboro, N.C. this past weekend.
In the final show of her high school career, track start Catarina Rocha competed in North Carolina this past weekend, finishing ninth in the 2-mile at the national event, according to the Lynn Item.
"I'm a little tired," Rocha said. "I ran two races. I'm a little tired, and happy to be done."Â
Rocha also landed one of her best times for the two-mile race, which was 10:26, her father said.

Rocha also helped her teammates land 7th place in the 4x1 mile relay (20:53.88).
