Peabody To Hold Pizza Fest Sunday
Pizza Fest will feature pizza places from all over Peabody.

PEABODY, MA – The City of Peabody and Peabody Main Streets are cohosting Pizza Fest, a celebration of Tanner City's finest pizzerias, to benefit local food pantry Haven From Hunger on Sunday, Aug. 20.
Pizza Fest will feature Peabody’s finest pizza makers, who will be donating both their product and time to benefit the local food pantry Haven From Hunger. Admission to the event is $5 per person. Attendees will be able to sample slices from each establishment and vote for the prestigious "Best Pizza in Peabody."
Participating pizza places so far include: Mr. G’s Pizza & Subs, Greg’s Pizza - Peabody, Giovanni’s House of Pizza, Pete’s-A- Place, Kelley Square Pub, Gallo Nero, Lena’s Pizza and Subs, Reach for the Pie, and Plum Tomatoes. Those over 21 will be able to enjoy craft beer by Ipswich Ale Brewery.

Following Pizza Fest, Summer Concert Series presented by Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. continues next door at Leather City Common as country music comes to Peabody. The Herland Brothers, an acclaimed country-rock band, will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Concert-goers are welcome to sprawl out on the common with their lawn chairs and blankets as they enjoy this local favorite.
