Peabody To Host 2017 U.S. Senior Open
The Salem Country Club in Peabody will host the 2017 U.S. Senior Open.

PEABODY, MA – Salem Country Club in Peabody will host the 2017 U.S. Senior Open Championship from June 26 to July 2.
The U.S. Senior Open blog notes that the club also hosted the 2001 U.S. Senior Open, the first time a Senior Open was sold out. Famed players Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Arnold Palmer graced the field, according to the blog.
"Working the 2001 event was spectacular," said Mary LoBello, who worked the 2001 event and will return this year, in the blog post. "I’m so happy to be back again for the 2017 Championship. Everyone has a personal story with the ’01 championship. Whether they were volunteering and met Gary Player or were standing in the clubhouse next to Jack Nicklaus during the rain delay, these are the memories that last a lifetime."
