Peabody Mental Health Awareness Event Saturday
Peabody will host a 5-kilometer walk beginning at South Memorial School at 11 a.m.
PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents are invited to wear green and head out to South Memorial School on Saturday for a walk to honor the start of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Check-in for the 5-kilometer walk is 10 a.m. with an 11 a.m start. Walkers are asked to wear green since that is the official color of mental health awareness.
The participation fee is $15 to go toward mental health awareness initiatives.

The event will include vendors open after the walk with food, ice cream and drinks.
The event will follow all coronavirus protocols. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed with a staggered start.
