Peabody Police Announce Peabody/Lynnfield Police Kids with Cancer Charity Baseball Game
Peabody's finest will be playing in support of the Jimmy Fund and now Cops for Kids with Cancer.

The Peabody Police posted the following on their Facebook page:
For the past 59 years, the Peabody Police Department has held an annual Charity Baseball Game to raise money for the ongoing support of the Jimmy Fund and now Cops for Kids with Cancer. Our success in providing that support is derived from the ongoing and unwavering support of the citizens and business owners of the City of Peabody.Now, in partnership with the Lynnfield Police Department we will be sponsoring our 60th Annual Labor Day Baseball Game. Members of the Peabody & Lynnfield Police will once again take on The North Shore Old-Timers on Monday September 5th, 2016 at Emerson Park in Peabody. The North Shore Old-Timers team consists of a wide variety of Local Legends including Celebrity Players.In order to provide the utmost in ongoing support, we are asking you to make whatever donation possible. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Jimmy Fund and Cops for Kids with Cancer. Your donation will support the ongoing efforts of these two great organizations in the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as the families of the brave children fighting against cancer.
