Peabody Police To Proceed With Citizens Academy
The deadline to submit an application for the Peabody Police Citizens Academy is Thursday at 4 p.m.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Police Department will hold its Citizens Academy fall session starting next week.
The deadline for apply for the session that begins on Sept. 16 is Thursday at 4 p.m.
The Citizens Academy allows citizens to find out more about what police officers, dispatchers, clerical staff and others who work withing the department do each day.

Among the topics covered will be use of force, patrol procedures, a K9 demonstration, terrorism, legal process, domestic violence, investigations, prevention and includes a firearms class at the gun range.
Peabody police will be working with the Peabody Health Department to make sure all coronavirus-related protocols are met.
