This "phishing" scam is a common one in which an email that appears to be official is fabricated. Indications that an email is part of a phishing scam are words spelled slightly wrong in the email and a random return email address that does not match what an official corporate email would resemble.
Always call a company through a number other than one provided in the email in question to verify it is authentic before clicking on a link and providing personal information.
