Peabody Road Closure Scheduled For Saturday

PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents and visitors looking to take Summit Street from Lynnfield Street will have to find another way around the area on Saturday.

Summit Street will be closed to traffic from Lynnfield Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a repaving project.

Summit Street businesses will be accessible to one-way traffic through Centennial Drive. Drivers can use First Avenue off Lynnfield Street to get to go to Centennial and back to Summit.

Peabody police will be on hand throughout the day to safely divert traffic and will utilize electronic message boards and detour signs to alert drivers.
