Peabody Seeks 'Perfect' Christmas Tree For City Hall

The city is hoping to bring the spirit of the season to the city's center amid the coronavirus crisis.

PEABODY, MA — While many Christmas traditions won't be what they usually are this holiday season, city officials are hoping to life the spirit of those traveling by City Hall with one big tree.

Peabody is looking for candidates for the city's holiday Christmas tree. Donations are being accepted until Nov. 3.

Trees grown in Peabody will receive priority, but outside donations will be considered.

Those willing to offer the symbol of yuletide celebration are asked to email a photo of the tree to peabodyrecreation@gmail.com.

Trees must be accessible to be cut down and must have good growth all the way around to be viewed at all angles.
