PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents will have to get their cars off the streets ahead of the big game.

The city has issued an emergency parking ban starting at noon on Sunday.

Vehicles parked on public roadways will be subjected to ticketing and towing.

"Please remove all parked cars from public roadways to allow for safe and effective snow-plow operations," the city said.

The Super Bowl Sunday storm is expected to bring between 3 and 6 inches of snow to the North Shore starting midday Sunday and running through the early evening.
