Peabody Students Earn Honors At Emerson, Lasell
These Peabody students were among those earning academic or athletic distinction.
PEABODY, MA — The following Peabody students have been named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Fall 2020 semester:
Aaron Homem is a Class of 2022 media studies student; Alexander Serino is a Class of 2024 Theatre Edu and Performance student; Erica Petrillo is a Class of 2021 media arts production student.
Shannon Grafton, a Peabody resident studying hospitality at Lasell University, recently earned a Problem-Solving Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.

Lasell Unviersity Assistant Professor Siddharth Mobar, a hospitality and event management expert, provided the certification opportunity in his course.
"Six Sigma certifications elevate a student's professional marketability and exemplifies additional knowledge of being a problem solver," Mobar said. "The students are prepared to be change agents within their organizations and can lead efforts to improve processes, deliver quality to customers, and achieve operational excellence."

The certifying agency, GoLeanSixSigma.com, uses immersive virtual training experiences to improve problem-solving skills. Forbes, Amazon, Tesla, and Disney are among the many companies who utilize the agency.
