Peabody Vaccine Ambassadors Hitting The City With A Purpose
Vaccine ambassadors will be visiting spots throughout the city this summer answering any questions about the coronavirus vaccine.
PEABODY, MA — If you are a Peabody resident having trouble getting a coronavirus vaccine, or still on the fence about whether you want one, the Peabody Health Department "Vaccine Ambassadors" want to talk to you.
The vaccine ambassadors will be out in neighborhoods in the city this summer and at community events talking about the safety and benefits of the vaccine and answering any questions or concerns from unvaccinated city residents.
Ambassadors can help those who want a vaccine set up an appointment, while there will be several pop-up vaccination sites able to give the shots on demand.
