Play Us A Tune: Peabody Public Pianos Return
Painted pianos are stationed around Peabody for anyone to play this summer.
PEABODY, MA – Play Us A Tune, Peabody's public painted piano program, has returned after its inaugural year. Pianos painted by artists are stationed around downtown Peabody for anyone to play.
The pianos are in Peabody Square under the monument, in front of Sports Collectibles, Santoro's of Peabody, the Peabody Institute Library, and Breaking Grounds Cafe.
Pedro Soto, a Peabody City Planner, said the program is back by popular demand. Residents made it known to organizers – Peabody Main Streets, Peabody Cultural Collaborative, Opportunity Peabody, and City of Peabody – that Play Us A Tune was something they really enjoyed.
