Route 1 Diner Closes In Peabody, To Be Replaced By Another Diner
The retro-themed Kayla's Diner had been open for about three years.

PEABODY, MA -- Kayla's Diner on Route One in Peabody has closed, but it looks like diner fans won't have to wait long for a replacement. Grecian Diner Tavern is reportedly planning to take over the space at 136 Newbury Street according to Boston Restaurant Talk, which first reported this story.
The retro-themed Kayla's had been open for about three years.An opening date and menu has not been announced for Grecian Diner Tavern, but the restaurant says it is now hiring on its Facebook page.
