For A Second Time, Peabody's Brothers Kouzina Announces Closing

PEABODY, MA — A popular Greek diner on Route One in Peabody said it will close at the end of June. It's similar to an announcement Brothers Kouzina made last summer, when the restaurant said it would close by the end of 2018 to make way for a medical marijuana dispensary. The restaurant eventually reversed that decision last fall, when plans for the dispensary fell through.

"We want to thank everyone for your continued support. We hope to see you before we close," the restaurant said in a Facebook post. The post did not say why the restaurant was closing, or if it planned to reopen in another location.
