Shots Reported On Main Street In Peabody

Reports said several rounds of ammunition were fired near 149 Main Street early Sunday morning.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody police responded to a report of shots fired on Main Street Sunday morning.

NBC10 Boston reported that at about 11:20 a.m. there was a report of bullet holes in an unoccupied vehicle near 149 Main Street. The station said "several rounds" of ballistics were discharged.

Police told the station no one was believed injured in the incident and there was no believed public threat.

They also said there had been no arrests.
