Singing and Signing at the South Branch

Popular program Singing and Signing returns to the South Branch for the summer!

The South Branch of the Peabody Institute Library is pleased to welcome back Wendy Manninen and Vicki Marsh for their engaging Singing and Signing program. This is a great opportunity for all ages to gather and enjoy a multi-sensory music program!

Experienced educators Wendy Manninen and Vicki Marsh blend music and American Sign Language to create a unique program that encourages cognitive development, refines motor skills and increases brain wave activity for a healthy mind. Participants will enjoy classic sing-a-long songs sung with both voices and hands. This program is engaging for all ages, including those who want to learn basic sign language or stimulate their minds.

Singing and Signing will take place at the South Branch of the Peabody Institute Library, 78 Lynn St. This recurring program is offered monthly the last Wednesday of the month during the summer. Session dates are June 24th, July 29th and August 26th. Each program begins at 10:30 and runs approximately 45 minutes. Sessions can be attended individually, but participants are encouraged to come to multiple sessions for maximum benefits and fun!
