PEABODY, MA — A lawyer representing the Golden Banana in Peabody told a judge "I can't wait to cross-examine Carmen Electra" and that he wants a lawsuit filed against the strip club to go to trial.

According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, Golden Banana lawyer Carlos Apostle told U.S. District Court Judge Leo Sorokin that attorneys representing Electra and eight other models who sued the club for using their likenesses without permission in social media advertising are not looking to settle the case. In a virtual hearing Thursday, plaintiffs' attorneys said the club continued to use the women's likenesses even after the lawsuit was filed last July.
