At 8:37 a.m., a construction crew struck a gas line on Chestnut Street, but it was believed that the gas line was inactive.

At 8:59 a.m., a woman on Margin Street reported that her daughter stole her motor vehicle.

At 11:28 a.m., police arrested Thomas Gregory Schumacher, 36, of Foster Street in Peabody on a warrant.
