Tractor-Trailer Into Trees On Route 128 Near Peabody Closes Ramp
It was long Tuesday morning commute on the North Shore when a tractor-trailer went off the highway into the tree line.

PEABODY, MA — A tractor-trailer off the road near the border of Lynnfield and Peabody on Route 128 North forced a shutdown of the ramp to Route 1 South Tuesday morning.
State police said that, while there were no injuries, traffic was backed up for hours during the commute from the crash right before Exit 44A. That exit was also closed for a stretch while the right lane was blocked on Route 128 North.
More than two hours after the crash was reported traffic was jammed back to Route 129 in Wakefield going north with WBZ-AM reporting heavy curiosity delays back to Route 128 South in Peabody.
