1749 Court House Museum Opening for April Vacation

The 1749 Court House Museum, located on Town Square Plymouth is pleased to be opening for a special week, April vacation, Sunday, April 14 through April 20 daily from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Interested in learning more about Plymouth’s history and the role this important town-owned museum has played in the town and the community since the 17th century? Museum staff is on hand throughout the vacation week to help you explore this building whose walls have seen John Adams practice law and heard the Declaration of Independence read aloud before the Revolutionary War. This free museum houses a pumper truck, a 19th century hearse and many interesting artifacts, as well as, a reproduction court room where visitors are welcome to stage their own family court room dramas. Looking for some fresh air this Spring, where better to start a walking tour of historical Burial Hill, Town Square, Brewster Gardens and downtown Plymouth with your own family?
