#6 Plymouth South Shuts Out #11 Canton In Baseball Tournament,4-0

Plymouth South pitcher Adam Maher's complete game shutout helps the team make it to the Quarterfinals.

PLYMOUTH, MA- The #6 Plymouth South Panthers faced the #11 Canton Bulldogs in the MIAA Division 2 Baseball South Sectional Tournament in the first round on Monday Afternoon.

For Plymouth South, starting pitcher Adam Maher pitched a complete game shutout win with 7 strikeouts and allowing 3 hits. Brysen Tetler hit a 2-run home run, Jack Obert and Matt Cassidy both had an RBI in the game.

For Canton, Nate Hewitt had two hits in the game, which one included a double. Matt Quan also had a hit and a walk.

Plymouth South will advance to the quarterfinals in which they will travel to Whitman-Hanson to face the #3 Panthers in a rematch of the Patriot Cup Championship game.
