Amazon To Open New Delivery Station in Plymouth
The company says the new facility will create hundreds of full-time and part-time jobs.
PLYMOUTH, MA — Amazon has signed a lease to open a new delivery station in Plymouth at Prestige Way and Route 3 later this year.
The 145,000 square-foot facility will create hundreds of full-time and part-time jobs, said the company.
Amazon fulfillment centers send packages to sorting centers, where employees load them onto trucks to head to delivery stations, where they are prepared for last-mile delivery to customers.

As of Thursday, the company has already listed three available positions in Plymouth on its website.
Massachusetts is already home to a number of Amazon delivery stations, including locations in Wilmington, Taunton, Everett, Dedham, Milford, Holyoke, Middleborough, Bellingham and Revere.

This year, Amazon is also set to open new facilities in Taunton, Canton, Hingham, Mansfield, Salem, and Worcester.
